A DAY ON THE DUNES!

 

The Mangawhai Harbour Restoration Society is once again seeking volunteers to assist with the planting of grass seedlings on our iconic sand spit surrounding the estuary .

 

Over the years over 100,000 seedlings have been planted minimising sand erosion, and protecting our harbour.  This is a great opportunity for people from our community to share in the unique experience of a day on the dunes.

 

Planting is set to commence from early July ,and as always ,we are guided by the weather.
